     This fine art festival has been a success for patrons and artists both for over 20 years. Spread out at the Abacoa Center, it is a relaxed atmosphere very condusive for selecting good art for your home or as a gift, in my case.

      This mile long event in the center of Coral Gables is a 2-3 day fiesta for the Cuban community in Little Havana in Coral Gables and Miami areas. I was assured that my art work would be OK in this environment as so many of the Cuban nationals speak English since they have been in the USA for such a long time. All the artists (150) will be located within the "artist's village" in one or 2 blocks, not spread out for a mile, whew, thank you. Let's hope the huge crowds need to get a laugh when they arrive at my booth. Hola!

      In an upscale shopping complex, this show is repeated 3 times during Jan., Feb. & March because there are so many artists and so many patrons who love art, that this show feels one each month is warranted. The variety and depth of creativity and craftsmanship are evident

at this show, don't miss it.

      This show gets a huge crowd and Atlanta really turns out for this fun weekend. I did this show almost 10 years ago and did quite well, thank you. Have not been back for a while so I thought I'd give it another shot. Some folks these days, those who are serious about buying art they really like, will preview all the artist's works on the art show web site. That way they know who to go to first before things get bought up.

Smart eh? More and more show goers are doing this, especially if they have a particular artist or medium in mind. Will I see you there?

     For those who did not wish to brave the huge hordes at Main St. Fort Worth show, it makes sense to come to see this great show in Southlake the next weekend. The quality is very high and the attendees know it. I have a good following there and last year earned a commission from a neat guy who wanted me to do a piece that combined his guitar expertise with his paddle board hobby. So I put him paddleboarding his fancy guitar across the lake with his home in the background. It was cool!!!

      Well, it's a long way to go but it sure is worth it. This will be my 4th year I think, I lose track sometimes, and

boy, does this crowd like my work? I'll say. The staff are friendly and helpful, my artist neighbors are great, the 

weather is perfect and the attendees buy my art. Many have made multiple purchases, and many have looked me 

up on the St. James Ct. art show web site before the show to see which artists they want to check out. I must have

been one of them!! Oh goody.

      It is so good to see the Mississippi coast build itself back up after the wrath of Katrina. And it will do my heart 

good to see my humor decorating the homes and businesses of this area after all they've been through. There is nothing 

like laughter to raise the spirits of folks who could sure use a good laugh. I am motivated.

      Y'all come to this one, y'hear? This will be a good time with some fresh art from local artists and those

like myself willing to make a long drive. Got about 3 October shows in a row so I'd better be well prepared.

And when I am new at a show, folks stumble upon me and are amazed if they've seen me for the first time. 

"Hey, how do you think up all these ideas?", they say. "Well, heck, I can't hardly think of anything else?" I respond.
